The End Of The Gander Meander.

I’m happy to announce that Mr. Waddles, The Kelley House Museum guard-goose, has been recovered.

He is happily resettling into his home-pond alongside Mrs. Waddles, who is both thrilled and relieved over the return of her mate.

The ganderjackers are still at large.

Police are looking for an individual covered with beak-shaped bruises.

If you have any information, please call the authorities.

  1. That's great news!

Mr. Waddles most have giving someone the "what for!"

How was he recovered? Just waddling down the street and spotted by some good samaritan?

  2. Thank Goodness! Welcome Home Mr. Waddles. Let's hope that peace gets another chance in Mendocino, not that I am expecting him to apologize for his behavior. I am relieved that he has been recovered. Whew.

  3. Aw shucks, I guess I'm glad he's back but I'm staying away from that fence next time I'm in town.

  5. They found him over in the pond on Fern Creek Road, safe and sound, thank goodness. However, Mendocino is awash in scandal. The rumor is that Mr. Waddles was out waddling around on Mrs. Waddles, who is none too happy about having such a loose goose for a mate.
