I Touch The Place.

I touch the place

Where you once lived.

Before you, that place

Held beauty;

After you, that place

Holds beauty.

But now I have had you

And not had you.

I have forgotten you

In my presence,

And now miss you

In your absence.

It is the lack of you

That now touches me.

  1. At the risk of sounding punny - The story is really very touching. I liked the photo essay and the way the words worked on a human level and on an eco-level.

  2. Clever eco photo essay.

    There's more than one way to get your message across. I like this way.
